Our client is one of a top tier investment management firm with a strong presence in the Asia Pacific region. Currently they are looking for a solid product controller to join their team in Hong Kong.
Working closely with portfolio managers, you will be responsible for monitoring the trading activities closely, analysing market data in order to deliver daily P&L reports with market commentaries, risk reports and weekly/ monthly valuations; coordinating with global teams and preparing management reports to senior executives and as well as working closely with trading, compliance, technology and operations on new business initiatives; formulated strategic solution for more efficient control in long term.
To be considered, you should have 8+ years of product control experience with international financial institutions and/or buyside firms. Good to have FRM, CFA or comparable certifications as well as experience with trading systems. You should also have some programming skills and the ability to resolve issues independently in a fast-paced environment.
