Assist the Director of Investments in managing client portfolios including updating models, researching tactical and strategic tilts, and choosing underlying managers.
Take the lead in monitoring the firm’s public managers through both the firm’s OCIO research team and the analyst’s own due diligence and sourcing.
Act as lead coverage and point of contact to public market managers, alongside Director of Investments, across all asset classes.
Assist Director of Investments with trading either through analysis, updating and maintaining Black Diamond Rebalancer, or direct involvement.
Responds to inquiries from clients, custodians, and internal departments to ensure timely effective processing of requests.
Assist with underwriting tasks, data collection, and report preparation for client investment portfolios and potentially internally managed funds.
Represent the company and accompany leadership to speaking events and industry functions as required.
Maintain and organize documents related to the investments advisory function, ensuring documentation is organized, complete, and readily available.
Compile reports from various systems, build presentations for client interactions, and distribute to appropriate stakeholders.
Identify operational trends, root causes, workflow and system inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
Build and maintain automated reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to in support of the investment advisory function in various software systems including Morningstar, Black Diamond, and Cobalt.
Act as both lead and support for both routine and special projects, with a willingness to handle any task, big or small.

Requirements
Successful candidates should possess the following skills and abilities:
4 to 7 years of relevant experience in manager due diligence and portfolio management. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, or a related field preferred.
Progress towards, or current holder of, CFA and/or CAIA designations.
Preference of strong proficiency with Charles Schwab’s system, Black Diamond, and Morningstar with the willingness to learn other software platforms if needed.
Strong organizational skills with a detail-oriented approach and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a confident, professional demeanor.
Ability to work independently while remaining a collaborative team player.
Willingness to travel occasionally for events and project needs.
