TREASURY ANALYST & ACCOUNTING

JOB DESCRIPTION

The candidate will support the Head of Bank & Cost accounting team, performing the following activities:

• Support bank accounting and all related activities (focal point with partner banks, monitoring all aspects related to bank accounts)
• Support end-to-end closing process, ensuring both deadlines and data quality
• Relationship with other business and control departments, involved in closing activities
• Support for auditors, board of directors and other Corporate functions
• Support Company cash-flow plan forecasting, monitor and explain deviations with actual figures
• Support the preparation of the monthly and quarterly reporting towards top management and regulatory authority. Advise of relevant regulatory changes and understand the impact on the business
• Run quantitative analysis and prepare dedicated reports to support the CFO/CRO and business functions
• Ensure support to the implementation and monitoring of business initiatives, also through the development of dedicated business cases and deep-dive analysis

KEY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

• Master's degree in Economics, Accounting or similar
• Good knowledge of Accounting principles (IFRS and Local GAAP with particular reference on IFRS17) and Corporate Finance
• 2/3+ years of experience in banking/insurance sector or as an insurance Auditor
• Strong IT background (MS office, MS Access, Excel, SAP)
• Strong technological, data analysis and quantitative mind-set
• Ability to work in a team and to interact with a considerable variety of stakeholders
• Comfortable with working under pressure and with tight deadlines
• Good organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills
• Hands-on approach, entrepreneurship and Innovative mind-set
• Fluent in Italian and English
