Financial Controller

As Financial Controller, you will be the financial backbone of our organization, reporting to the Financial Director and responsible for ensuring financial integrity, optimizing performance, and driving strategic growth. This unique role requires an individual skilled in both finance and business operations, able to seamlessly navigate between strategic and tactical responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management

• Financial Reporting: Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to the Board and VC investors, providing key insights and analysis.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial projections to support business goals.
• Audit & Compliance: Help with external audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards.
• Financial Planning & Analysis: Drive strategic decision-making through in-depth analysis and scenario planning.
• Cash Flow & Working Capital Management: Ensure effective cash flow management and optimal working capital utilization.

Key Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CFA) is preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 5-7 years in a financial controller or senior finance role, ideally in fintech, tech, or other fast-paced, growth-oriented sectors.
• Audit/Group Reporting: Preferred experience with audit processes or group financial reporting, especially within multi-currency or multi-entity environments.
• Skillset: Strong financial acumen, exceptional analytical skills, and experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Fluency in English: Excellent spoken and written English, with the ability to communicate financial information clearly to diverse audiences. Additional EU languages (Polish, Italian, Spanish, French) - an advantage
• Leadership: Proven experience managing teams and playing a key role in cross-functional projects.
• Operational Savvy: Hands-on experience in operational management, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
