Finance Analyst - Financial Management (8 months contract)

General Description:

The analyst will join Financial Management pillar of Finance with the p rimary focus on intercompany related transaction.

Main Duties:

• Perform Intercompany operational duties
• Handle intercompany transactions, including issuance and recording of billing, debit notes, credit notes and invoices
• Prepare intercompany related journal entries
• Execute month end/quarter end and year end reporting task such as intercompany confirmations, reconciliations and intercompany related accruals
• Funds monitoring from intercompany settlement
• Transfer Pricing computation
• Attend to adhoc queries on intercompany differences
• Reconcile internal account balance via Intellmatch
• Regulatory reporting
• In charge of local regulatory reporting relating to intercompany transactions (MAS610)
• GST related matters such as reconciliation of reverse charge, irrecoverable gst etc
• Preparation of GST reporting every quarterly
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Qualifications

Work Experience & Education Requirement:

• Relevant experience in the banking industry
• Good interpersonal skills and able to work independently or contribute as part of a team
• Takes initiatives in streamlining processes and drive automation
• Degree in Accounting, Banking or Finance
