An industry-leading organisation is seeking a great Accounts all-rounder to join their growing team. Your new company
Our client is one of Australia's leading Non-Bank lenders that is growing substantially and will see the company lead the way within the lending market for many years to come. They are going to continue to expand their presence in the market and require a strong Accounts Officer to support their growth.
Your new role
Reporting to the Head of Finance you will be an integral member of a small but highly effective finance team. You will be able to effectively manage and process accounts payable, accounts receivable and provide key support to the overall Finance Division. Your day will include, but not limited to:
  • The end-to-end accounts payable function.
  • Full function accounts receivables.
  • Transaction processing.
  • Supporting other Finance department functions as required
  • Providing general administrative support i.e. travel bookings, stationary/staff amenities ordering etc.
  • What you'll need to succeed
    To be effective in this role, you will need demonstrated experience in a similar role and an Accounting degree would be highly regarded. You will enjoy working with numbers, have a keen eye for detail, work well within a team environment and have strong communication skills, written and verbal. You will be motivated and willing to get involved in all parts of the finance process.
    You will also have the following attributes and knowledge:
  • Experience with both accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Knowledge of accounting software packages such as Quickbooks, Xero or equivalent
  • Must have strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel & Outlook
  • The ability to quickly learn in-house systems
  • Highly organised, with the ability to multitask and prioritise in a busy environment
  • Flexibility to work in a growing and evolving environment and adapt to changing systems
  • Work autonomously whilst being part of a small team
  • Positive and can-do attitude to take on any new duties which may include learning new and challenging tasks and where no task is too big or too small
