As the Financial Accountant, you will be a vital part of this forward thinking, innovative and established team, reporting directly to the CFO.

Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Month-end closing process including balance sheet reconciliations and journals
• Assisting in year-end financial accounting and statement preparation
• Preparation of FBT, BAS and GST Returns
• Management of Fixed Assets ensuring proper accounting treatment
• Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial projections
• Oversee credit card management
• Assisting with internal management reporting and working closely with the sales
• team to reflect insights
• Participate in sales and market analysis & reporting
• Ad hoc analysis and project work as required
• Providing value-add commentary on performance against budgets and relevant benchmarks
• Implement and enhance financial controls.
• Contribute to continuous improvement to the accounting systems and processes
• Support system integration
• Provide guidance, training, processes, and ongoing support to staff on any
• matters with financial impact.
• GL system maintenance ensuring it's integrity

What you'll need to succeed
To excel in this role, you will be CA/CPA qualified, proactive, eager to learn, and possess a strong improvement mindset. Your ability to grow with the business and implement changes will be key to your success.
