Main Responsibilities :
The ideal Head of GT APAC will be a dynamic leader with a blend of strategic thinking, cultural awareness, deep knowledge of Global Trade products and a strong sales acumen. She/he should be ready to embrace the complexities of diverse markets, forge meaningful connections locally and drive sustainable growth across geographies and product lines in strong connection with Paris HQ. Ability to innovate and adapt will be crucial as she/he will lead the charge into new frontiers of business in Asia.
Define and implement strategy in APAC together with Head Office Business Heads.

Main Responsibilities :
The ideal Head of GT APAC will be a dynamic leader with a blend of strategic thinking, cultural awareness, deep knowledge of Global Trade products and a strong sales acumen. She/he should be ready to embrace the complexities of diverse markets, forge meaningful connections locally and drive sustainable growth across geographies and product lines in strong connection with Paris HQ. Ability to innovate and adapt will be crucial as she/he will lead the charge into new frontiers of business in Asia.
- Competitive Analysis, Market insight and Entry Strategies: Ability to analyze competitors and identify gaps in the market for product offerings. Deep understanding of the Asian market dynamics, including cultural nuances, economic trends, and consumer behaviors across different countries. Skilled in developing and executing market entry strategies that are tailored to specific regions within Asia (i.e. Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Indonesia, India, Australia...)
- Sales Experience: Extensive experience in sales leadership, with a history of exceeding sales targets in diverse markets, ability to cooperate with the other stakeholders, in particular with coverage to develop the new relationships.
- Client Acquisition: Proven ability to identify and engage new clients, with a focus on building long-term partnerships.
Define and implement strategy in APAC together with Head Office Business Heads.
- Adapt, implement and execute the strategy and roadmap for APAC.
- Foster diversification in terms of geographies, products and underlying in cooperation with Coverage (plain vanilla trade, Working Capital Solutions, Structured Export Finance, Structured Commodity Finance, Liquidity collection..).
- Maintain a strong Governance and Control framework
- Monitoring and assessment of risks (Credit, Compliance, Ops, Markets).
Performance Monitoring and management
- Monthly and ad hoc monitoring and reporting of KPI.
- Lead Budgets, and landing targets exercises.
Talent management
- Management of teams in different locations: Singapore, Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Seoul.
- Develop technical and interpersonal skills of the teams.
- Foster collaborative mindset across internal stakeholders and platforms
Required Skills :
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 15 years' experience minimum in Transaction Banking and/or Trade and Commodity Finance
- Strong technical knowledge in Corporate Trade, Working capital and structured Export Finance activities
- Good knowledge of banking products and Asian market
- Risks structuring approach
- Excellent communication, marketing and selling skills
- Good organization and management skills.
- Dynamic, self-motivated, result-oriented
- Good interpersonal skills and proven leadership
- Demonstrated professional judgement, consistency and strong attention to details
- Superior analytical, evaluative and problem-solving abilities
- Experience in setting up teams and new businesses.
