Our Trust Operations team is looking for experienced professionals to join us in Taguig with the role of Trust Accounting Officer .

As a Trust Accounting Officer, your role includes ensuring accurate and efficient recording of trust transactions, both from the Trust System and manually. You will submit timely reports to trustors, EW Business Units, Management, and regulatory agencies, while ensuring compliance with relevant rules and accounting principles. Additionally, you will assist the Accounting Team Head in managing the team and supervise the accounting and document assistants.

What the role will entail
  • Ensure all business transactions are correct, accurate, and complete in the trust system vis-à-vis transaction documents
  • Comply and submit accurate financial reports on time to BSP, BIR, SEC, the Insurance Commission, HLURB, and other regulatory bodies to avoid penalties from delays or errors.
  • Review monthly and quarterly financial statements for IMATOFA accounts to ensure compliance with the Trust/IMA Agreement and BSP requirements.
  • Ensure accurate benefit payment for provident fund members in line with client plan rules.
  • Promptly address client inquiries and resolve complaints regarding financial statements and transactions.
  • Assess existing processes and propose strategic improvements to deliver exceptional and timely service to both internal and external clients.

What we're looking for
  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy
  • Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  • At least 3 years' experience in financial reporting.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, planning, analytical, mathematical, and interpersonal skills.
