The National Hub is a place for individuals to thrive, embrace digital and deliver support to advisers and to our clients. The Adviser Support Centre is made up of individuals covering a wide range of experience across a wide range of case types. Although we are a remote team, the team works as one unit and is very supportive. Success is measured by achieving a great case quality and completed in a timely manner.
We pride ourselves on offering our new recruits the help and support they need to succeed in their new roles. Because of the diversity of the work we do, no two days are never the same & our paraplanners are the pivotal contact between the Advisers, Providers and Business Assurance.
Working for Quilter offers both formal and informal training, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to apply to achieve industry qualifications depending on their experience. You will take an induction course which will give you and oversight of the Paraplanning Team tasks , on team training will take place to ensure you have the knowledge to complete your tasks.

About the Role
Assist the paraplanning team with various administrative tasks, including but not limited to data entry, file management, and document preparation.
Prepare accurate and comprehensive financial reports, investment proposals, and analysis based on the information provided by paraplanners and financial advisors.
Conduct research on financial products, investment options, and market trends to assist paraplanners.
Ensure all documentation and processes adhere to regulatory standards and internal compliance guidelines.
Maintain client records, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy of information in accordance with data protection policies.
Collaborate with financial product providers, platforms, and custodians to request and obtain required information and documentation.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute ideas to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the paraplanning department.
Work closely with financial advisors, paraplanners, and other team members to provide seamless support and deliver outstanding client service, including mailbox management.

We are seeking a detail oriented and proactive Paraplanning Administrator to join our dynamic financial planning team. As a Paraplanning Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Financial Advisors and Paraplanners in delivering an exceptional service to our clients. Your primary responsibility will be to provide administrative assistance which will ensure smooth and efficient operations within the paraplanning team.
Preferred qualifications for this role include previous experience in a financial planning or paraplanning support role. While not mandatory, a background in the financial industry is crucial. This entails a fundamental understanding of financial products, investment principles, and financial planning concepts, along with awareness of UK financial industry regulations and compliance practices.
Highly desirable knowledge would include experience of working with FE Analytics and/or prior support of Paraplanners.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) is a must. Experience with financial planning software or CRM systems is also essential. Attention to detail is paramount to ensure accuracy in reports and documentation.
Strong organizational and time management skills are necessary to effectively handle multiple tasks and prioritize. A collaborative approach to work, flexibility, and a willingness to support team members when required are valued traits.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential for conveying information clearly and professionally.
Demonstrated commitment to upholding high ethical standards and handling sensitive information with confidentiality is expected.
Excellent telephony etiquette is important, as calls to providers/ advisors will form part of this role.
