Functie

• Oversee monthly closing for branches, ensuring accurate financial reporting, journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and compliance documentation.
• Manage and review cash and bank processes, purchase and expense controls, sales, invoicing, and AR processes.
• Perform month-end closing activities, including variance analysis, proactive balance reviews, and adherence to deadlines.
• Prepare financial reports and provide accounting insights to branch managers for informed decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with tax filings, VAT reporting, statutory requirements, and audits.
• Support financial planning, cost reduction initiatives, internal controls (JSOX), and both internal and external audits.
• Assist company personnel with accounting matters and ensure adherence to procedures and regulations.

Profiel

• Minimum 5 years' experience in accounting/finance, preferably GL accounting
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is an advantage
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) in English & Danish or Swedish
• Strong team-working skills and ethical awareness
• Organized, proactive and result oriented
• Takes ownership for responsibilities with a positive attitude and able to meet deadlines
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Capable of working independently as well as working well in a team
