Equity Research Analyst

The full-time analyst role is designed for qualified professionals to gain hands-on experience with Mexico’s Equity Research team. This position is based in Mexico City, aimed to support our Real Estate, Construction and Strategy coverage.

Job Description:
As an equity research analyst, you will play an integral role in the analysis process by providing quantitative support for industry-and company-specific research. This involves dissecting earnings releases and regulatory filings, assessing relevant news events, organizing complex data sets, updating financial models, and preparing marketing presentations. You will get the opportunity to work with colleagues in Sales and Trading by facilitating comprehensive client coverage, market intelligence, and capital markets transactions.

About the candidates:
Research is a fast-paced, demanding, and intellectually stimulating industry. Therefore, we look for the following:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics or related. 
• Minimum one year, maximum two years of experience. 
• Fluency in English; 
• Excellent written and oral communication skills; 
• Strong quantitative background; 
• Advanced computer skills using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; 
• Ability to collaborate within a team environment; 
• Self-starter, quick learner, and resourceful in solving problems; 
• Proven interest in markets; 
• Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills; 
• Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
