Equity Analyst – Health Care

Investment manager with over $3.0 billion in assets under management focusing on large and mid-cap equities seeks to hire an equity analyst.  The analyst will be responsible for coverage of the Health Care sector and must be able to work within the parameters of the firm’s disciplined investment process.

Responsibilities include:

• Primary coverage of all major industry groups within the Health Care sector
• Generate new investment ideas utilizing internal screening models and tools as well as fundamental analysis
• Closely monitor existing holdings
• Understand and incorporate the risk dynamics of the sector and individual stocks into the decision-making process
• Participate in team-driven portfolio management discussions

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree with an MBA and/or CFA preferred
• A minimum of three years of analytical experience
• Specific experience in the Health Care sector a plus
• Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment

Compensation:

• Salary range of $180,000 to $220,000, depending on experience
• Variable annual bonus, adjusted for fund and employee performance
