Functie
1. Financial Operations & Accounting

• Oversee daily financial operations, ensuring accurate and timely processing of transactions.
• Record and maintain all financial transactions in the accounting system with precision.
• Generate and track sales invoices, ensuring timely collections and proper reconciliation.
• Process employee expense claims in accordance with company policies.
• Manage accounts payable and ensure timely and accurate payments to vendors.
• Maintain organised financial records and support the month-end and year-end closing processes.

2. Financial Reporting & Analysis

• Support financial analysis to guide strategic decision-making and operational planning.
• Prepare and maintain summaries of outstanding invoices to monitor cash flow and receivables.
• Assist in the preparation of year-end financial statements, budgets, and financial forecasts.
• Develop and deliver financial reports and statements for management and external stakeholders.
• Implement and uphold financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Provide financial insights and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise financial performance and efficiency.

3. Regulatory Compliance & Controls

• Review and verify VAT returns to ensure compliance with tax regulations.
• Support audits by preparing required documentation and ensuring adherence to financial regulations.
• Stay updated on relevant financial laws and regulations to ensure full compliance with reporting standards.

Profiel

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial operations, accounting, or a related role, preferably within the financial services or consulting industry.
• Technical Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory compliance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial management software.
  • Experience with financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Languages: Fluency in Dutch and English is a must.
• Key Competencies:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
