Connex Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Connex Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Connex application architecture and design, excellent development and troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. This role involves ensuring the availability of the environment during SIT, UAT, and CERT phases, debugging and fixing system failure errors, running and reviewing install plans, rebuilding environments, and addressing environment-related issues promptly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand and work with Connex application architecture and design.
• Develop and troubleshoot Connex applications.
• Ensure the availability of the environment during SIT, UAT, and CERT phases.
• Debug and fix system failure errors.
• Run and review install plans.
• Rebuild environments as needed.
• Address environment-related issues in a timely manner.

Essential Skills:

• Expertise in Connex Environmental Database (CED).
• Proficiency in Enscribe Database and Enform.
• Expertise in ATM & POS functionality, transaction switching, and EMV.
• Understanding of Connex source codes, application debugging, and problem resolution.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills for ATM, POS, and schemes.
• In-depth knowledge of any switching application (Connex preferred).
• Understanding of TAL, COBOL, S-COBOL, and TACL.
• Strong communication skills.
