The ideal candidate will have certifications in one or more of the mentioned products. This role involves solutioning, developing, and implementing solutions that align with business objectives. The work model is hybrid and the shift is day. Travel is not required.

We are seeking a Guidewire Developer with greater than 3yrs experience in either of the following PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter, Guidewire Cloud Platform. The ideal candidate will have certifications in one or more of the mentioned products. This role involves solutioning, developing, and implementing solutions that align with business objectives. The work model is hybrid and the shift is day. Travel is not required.
Responsibilities
- Collaboratively work with BA, Product Owners and SME's to determine the best way to implement the desired objective into the Guidewire Solution.
- Oversee the development and customization of Guidewire PolicyCenter and ClaimCenter.
- Provide technical guidance and support to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Develop code according to both Cognizant and Client development standards
- Ensure the relevant Unit test coverage is implemented as required by Cognizant or the Client.
- Provide feedback to other developer on solution options.
- Provide and assist in code review processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Guidewire applications.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Guidewire technologies.
- Participate in project planning and estimation activities.
- Mentor and train junior developers on Guidewire best practices and methodologies.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Possess experience with Guidewire Studio PolicyCenter and ClaimCenter.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Exhibit excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Have a solid understanding of software development lifecycle and methodologies.
- Show proficiency in designing scalable and secure software solutions.
- Display a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
- Experience in hybrid work environments is a plus.
