HEAD OF FINANCE COMMERCIAL COMPANY
THE JOB :
DO Recruitment Advisors is recruiting a Head of Finance, on behalf of our client, an international provider of accounting and administration services.
The Head of Finance will manage and supervise all daily finance operations, support the Company fast growth and lead internal strategic projects. The Head of Finance will work in close collaboration with senior stakeholders, including the Managing Partner and the Executive Committee, as well as the Group counterparts located in Paris. She or he wills also be responsible for the daily management of the Finance team as well as daily management of all related Finance tasks and activities.
Responsibilities
- Accountable for timely and accurate reporting, on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis (local reporting, statutory reporting and Group reporting)
- Accountable for general Finance processes (timesheet review, accounts payables and receivables follow up, cash flow forecast, filing Tax and VAT returns, internal bookkeeping, expense reports...)
- Monitoring and analysing of key Finance indicators or deviations and provide recommendations as appropriate
- Identifying risks, evaluating impact, proposing solutions and implementing remediation plan as appropriate
- Key contributor to lead change and foster new ERP adoption, including process review and streamline
- Analyse and propose improvements in new ERP set up to optimise use and efficiency
- Daily team management (5 people across 2 locations) including revision of current roles and responsibilities split between team members
- Preparing budget submission and monitoring budget execution in close collaboration with senior management (Managing Partner, Country Audit Leader, - Executive Committee, Service Line Leaders)
- Accountable for the yearly financial statements production, from initial preparation up to final filing
- Primary contact person for external auditors
- Creating and maintaining solid relationship with service providers, including banking institutions
- Responsible for the creation, maintenance and adherence to modern and efficient Finance policies and procedures
- Review and optimization of existing Finance processes and workflows
THE CANDIDATE PROFILE :
- Master's degree in Accounting, Finance or similar field
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar environment, with proven experience as Finance leader
- Good knowledge of Luxembourg accounting norms and principles, as well as applicable tax and VAT standards
- Good knowledge of consolidation principles and IFRS standard
- Fluent in English, French is an asset
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Strong analytical, financial planning and organisational skills
- Knowledge of the audit and consulting sector is a plus
- Team player, solution-oriented and stress resilient
