The Restructuring and Insolvency Assistant Manager/Manager is second in-charge of various functions including managing the restructuring and insolvency processes, generating and supporting the business, ensuring quality control, providing technical leadership as well as sourcing for appropriate staff for the team.

- Assess cash flow forecast assumptions and provide recommendations on optimising the cash flows and options available to clients
- Coordinate with multiple stakeholders in complex liquidations and restructurings
- Generate ideas and solutions as well as review proposed recommendations for improving liquidity, credit availability, and creditor return
- Review financial analyses, financial models and recommend financial restructuring plans
- Execute financial restructuring plans
- Manage sale of distressed assets
- Provide recommendations on simplifying legal entity structures of clients
- Review correspondence to clients with creditors during restructuring or insolvency
- Manage project and guide the team to execute the judicial management, receivership and liquidation
- Execute proposals and/or schemes of arrangement
- Review business proposals and pitch documents
- Review engagement letters
- Build internal and external relationships to drive business development strategies
Requirements
- Background in Accounting, Business, Economics, Finance or other relevant field
- At least 5 to 7 years' experience in corporate insolvency and restructuring
- Member of ISCA preferred but not necessary
- Able to analyse and make sense of data, and communicate data insights to relevant stakeholders
- Able to lead teams across multiple disciplines and jurisdictions
- Excellent written, oral and presentation skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong desire to expand personal network to build the business
