Accounting Manager - Zaventem

About Our Client
Our client operates in the security sector and specializes in cash management and secured logistics. They offer services such as cash collection, processing, and transportation, as well as digital payment solutions and secure storage. With a global presence, they support businesses and financial institutions in managing their funds efficiently and securely.

For their headquarters in Belgium, they are looking for a new Accounting Manager to strengthen their Finance Team. We are seeking someone with experience in full-cycle accounting for a Belgian entity.

Job Description
Accounting

• Manage cash flow, bank reconciliations, and budget forecasts.
• Process bookings and prepare balance sheets and income statements.
• Collaborate on budgets, taxes, and dispute management.
• Maintain contact with tax authorities, banks, and auditors.

Team management

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Set goals, monitor performance, and delegate tasks.
• Supervise daily accounting operations and closing processes.

Monitoring economic performance

• Conduct financial analysis and strategy execution.
• Prepare monthly closings and annual audits.
• Optimize forecasting and reporting tools.

Other responsibilities

• Handle invoicing, collections, and accounts receivable management.
• Oversee supplier invoices and payments.

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Accounting/Finance
• Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in accounting
• Strong analytical skills
• Detail-oriented and well-organized
• Team player
• Good communication skills
• Knowledge of Navision is a plus
• Fluent in Dutch or French with basic knowledge of the other language
• Good command of English
