Key Responsibilities
As a Data Specialist in our Transformation team, you'll play a pivotal role in analyzing complex data sets to provide valuable insights that inform business decisions. Your expertise will help guide our clients toward data-driven strategies and operational improvements.

Below are the key responsibilities for this role:
Stakeholder management and leadership:
- Collaborate with clients, management, and relevant stakeholders to define project goals and objectives.
- Understand the unique challenges faced by each client and tailor recommendations and solutions accordingly.
- Research, develop, and implement effective data-gathering methods.
- Analyze and synthesize data from various sources, including financial records, market trends, and operational metrics.
- Utilize reporting tools (such as Tableau or PowerBI) to create insightful reports and interactive dashboards.
- Develop data transformation pipelines (using tools such as Alteryx, Databricks, etc.) from data sources to views required by reporting tools
- Maintain architecture diagrams, technical specifications, data dictionaries, and process workflows.
- Present findings to clients in a clear and impactful manner.
- Dive deep into data to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies.
- Provide actionable recommendations based on your analysis.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business specialists, data scientists, and project managers.
- Communicate findings effectively to clients, helping them make informed decisions.
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in management information systems, information technology, mathematics, statistics, or related field
- All years of experience will be considered, with appropriate role level and compensation to be discussed upon successful interview
- Practical experience in implementing reports and data transformation within a finance context is preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills, logical thinking, and critical thinking
- Ability to complete milestones and work toward multiple deadlines simultaneously
- Confident in decision making and the ability to explain processes or choices as needed
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in both spoken and written English (and Chinese)
