Position Summary

As a MuleSoft Lead at Cognizant, you will play a pivotal role in driving the successful implementation of MuleSoft solutions for our clients. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with clients to refine and finalize user stories, ensuring that implementations align with the requirements finalized during due diligence, highlighting any scope changes to relevant stakeholders, and conducting product demo sessions for client SMEs. With 10 to 12 years of experience, you should possess strong technical skills in MuleSoft and domain expertise in Property & Casualty Insurance and Agribusiness.

Mandatory Skills
  • In-depth knowledge of Mulesoft Anypoint Studio, API Manager, and CloudHub.
  • Experience with designing and developing integrations using Mulesoft ESB (Enterprise Service Bus).
  • Expertise in designing, building, and managing RESTful and SOAP APIs.
  • Proficiency in RAML (RESTful API Modeling Language) or OAS (OpenAPI Specification).
  • Strong skills in transforming and mapping data formats such as XML, JSON, CSV, and EDI.
  • Experience with DataWeave for data transformation and scripting.
  • Solid understanding of various integration patterns (e.g., request-reply, publish-subscribe, scatter-gather).
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA).
  • Familiarity with integration patterns, microservices architecture, and SOA.
  • Experience with Java, Spring, and other related technologies is a plus.
  • Experience with web services (REST, SOAP) and asynchronous messaging (JMS, AMQP).
  • Proficient in implementing robust error handling and logging mechanisms.
  • Strong debugging skills to identify and resolve integration issues efficiently.
  • Knowledge of securing APIs using OAuth, JWT, SSL/TLS, and other security protocols.
  • Experience with implementing authentication and authorization mechanisms.
  • Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices and tools such as Jenkins, Git, and Maven.
  • Understanding of DevOps principles and automation.
  • Excellent analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues.
  • Creative approach to finding solutions and optimizing integration performance.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders and team members.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Experience with agile methodologies and participating in scrum teams.
  • Efficiently manage multiple tasks and projects, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Mulesoft Certified Developer or Mulesoft Certified Integration Architect certification.
Roles And Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Customer SMEs to define To Be Business Processes
  • Prepare Functional Specifications
  • Act as the point of contact for Client for functional aspects act as a bridge between offshore team and Client
  • Work with Client to groom and finalize the user stories
  • Support API architect to define arch guidelines, Patterns & Standards for Integration platform.
  • Support API architect to design & Develop the Common Service frameworks
  • Perform Design, Code, Unit Test Review
  • Performing API code peer reviews within API development team and seek feedback & guidance from Core Team
  • Aligning with Core Team to understand the API Specifications and constraints.
  • Provide expertise in developed tools and processes
  • Own the API Lifecycle and enforces the SDLC and lead CI/CD pipeline
  • Conduct product demo sessions for Client SMEs
  • Collaborate with Customer SMEs to define To Be Business Processes
  • act as a bridge between offshore team and Client
Nice to have
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Understanding of specific industry domains such as finance, healthcare, or retail can be beneficial.Some experience on other

  • Mulesoft Certified Developer or Mulesoft Certified Integration Architect certification.
Salary Range: >$100,000
