Are you looking to develop your accounting career in a dynamic and fast-paced environment? Our client, a growing financial services firm, is seeking an Accounts Assistant to join their expanding team in the heart of London.

This is an excellent opportunity to grow within a progressive financial company and gain valuable experience in accounting and finance.

Responsibilities
  • Monitoring of the Accounts inbox.
  • Ownership of Accounts Payable function dealing with the supplier and internal queries.
  • Coding and entering Group purchase invoices.
  • Payment run creation ready for approvals.
  • Scanning / Filing.
  • Out of pocket expenses.
  • Petty cash reconciliation.
  • This list of duties is not exclusive or exhaustive and may be subject to change depending on the needs of the business.

Requirements
  • Experience with multi-entity accounting platforms such as Sage Intacct (helpful).
  • Preferable being qualified for AAT Level 2/3
  • Able to use initiative and be proactive.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Polite with a calm and professional manner
  • Basic understanding of accounting concepts with a willingness to further develop skills and a desire to pursue an accountancy qualification.
  • Knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, OneDrive.
  • Able to operate autonomously.
  • Managing your own time and liaise with colleagues and the team.
