Deloitte is seeking a Senior Consultant/ Manager for our Finance Transformation team. This role is pivotal in transforming the finance function from a supporting role to a strategic business partner, reducing costs, increasing efficiency, and enhancing decision-making capabilities.
About the role:
- Analyse existing financial processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement process enhancements to streamline operations and reduce costs.
- Utilise data analytics tools to monitor process performance and make data-driven recommendations.
- Design and implement automated solutions for financial processes using advanced technical skills.
- Develop and maintain financial models, dashboards, and reporting tools using software such as Excel, SQL, and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate financial systems and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Lead and manage finance-transformation projects from initiation to completion, including developing project plans, timelines, and budgets. Ensuring deliverables are produced in a timely manner and are of the required quality.
- Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
About You:
- Strong BA skills - process mapping, requirements gathering.
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Finance, or a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
- Extensive experience working with a consulting firm as a Data Consultant in finance and regulatory environments across Banking & Insurance sectors.
- Experience with Financial Services clients and in-depth knowledge of finance processes and controls within these environments.
- Proven experience in Financial & Regulatory Reporting, including IFRS reporting and Prudential and Statistical Reporting.
- Proficiency in IT systems and key technology platforms used within Banking & Insurance, and effective communication with technical leads.
- Familiarity with data tools, BI Reporting, T-SQL, Python & R, ERP systems (e.g., Oracle & SAP), and experience with Agile methodologies.
