About the role
The Finance Associate role in Luxembourg is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional to support corporate accounting and financial reporting within an international asset management environment. Working closely with the Head of Finance and Luxembourg Financial Controller, this role will focus on delivering accurate financial results, managing regulatory reporting, and collaborating with UK-based finance processing teams. In this role you will also have opportunities to work on regulatory projects, process improvements, and finance migration, as well as interacting with senior finance leadership and cross-border teams.

Key Responsibilities
Corporate Accounting & Financial Reporting:
- Assist in the delivery of Luxembourg financial results in line with local GAAP and IFRS.
- Prepare and review monthly accounting journals.
- Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Prepare invoice requests for Accounts Receivable and track supplier invoices.
- Process priority payment requests via the Finance Cash Team.
- Prepare monthly VAT declarations and quarterly regulatory reports.
- Review trial balances and financial statements for GP entities.
- Coordinate with auditors, ensuring timely provision of supporting documentation.
- Support new activity migrations, sustainability reporting (CSRD), and profitability monitoring.
Process Improvement & Projects:
- Review trial balances and financial statements for oversight of GP entities.
- Contribute to ad-hoc finance projects aimed at process improvement.
- Participate in new business and regulatory-driven initiatives.
Stakeholder & Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain a strong finance network across EMEA.
- Develop strong working relationships with group finance teams.
- Coordinate with local and UK finance teams across different regions.
About The Candidate
- Master's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Professional qualifications such as CPA, CA, ACCA, ACA, IRE, or Expertise Compatible.
- Experience working across multiple regions, cultures, and time zones.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a global finance team.
