Assistant Vice President, Post Trade - Platform & Infrastructure

Job Summary:
We are looking for a proactive and meticulous Assistant Vice President to drive a strategic initiative focused on upgrading and modernizing systems in the cash equity market.

Job Duties:

Responsibilities:

• Analyze the business requirements and ensure alignment with strategic business goals
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and understand business needs
• Evaluate current business processes and systems to identify areas for improvement to achieve enhanced operational efficiency and effectiveness
• Validate technical solutions to ensure the business requirements are met and align with best practices
• Analyze data and metrics to inform decision-making, providing insights into trends and potential impacts of system changes
• Facilitate smooth transition to new processes, including training and support for end-users
• Coordinate testing activities to ensure quality standards and address any issues that arise
• Provide updates on project status, risks, and outcomes with key stakeholders in a transparent and effective manner

Requirements:

• At least 8 years of relevant experience in a reputable financial organization
• Previous experience as a business analyst or in a similar role
• Knowledge of CCASS or cash equity market in Hong Kong or overseas markets is preferred
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective interaction with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong ability to build relationships and collaborate with cross-functional teams
