This private equity backed professional services firm (>£100m turnover) is recruiting for a Corporate Tax Partner to join their established team based in London.

They have identified a need for an additional Partner in Corporate Tax to reflect the ongoing growth of the firm and department. The core client base for the firm is in the mid-market and OMB space across Financial Services (asset management, private equity, hedge funds), Real Estate and wider Commerce & Industry. This is set up as a core advisory / project focused business line, with compliance managed by another team. The focus for this hire would be to fill a perceived skills gap on their Go To Market approach, both external business development in addition to working with internal stakeholder to leverage existing client relationships in other parts of the firm.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with a diverse client base and play a key role in the strategic direction of the firm's corporate tax services.
  • Oversee the delivery of corporate tax compliance and advisory services to a portfolio of clients across various industries.
  • Develop and implement tax planning strategies to optimize clients' tax positions.
  • Stay abreast of changes in UK tax legislation and ensure clients are informed of relevant developments.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor on all corporate tax matters.
  • Collaborate with other departments within the firm to identify cross-selling / value add opportunities for the existing client base
  • Identify opportunities for business development and contribute to the growth of the firm's corporate tax services.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in corporate tax advisory and compliance, with the ability to manage complex tax issues for a diverse client base. You will be ACA and/or CTA qualified with significant experience working in UK and international corporate tax, ideally in a mid-markets / OMB client base. You will need to demonstrate a strong technical background to gether with a track record of managing a diverse client portfolio, including multinational corporations. You will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues and a pro-active approach to business generation and revenue growth.
