About the Role
Are you an experienced finance professional looking for your next challenge? We are working with a Luton based Accountancy Practice who are seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team.
The role covers all aspects of financial reporting, auditing, and tax compliance.
The practice has a collaborative working environment and offers an enviable benefits package which includes hybrid working and paid overtime.
Salary: £ £44,000 - £47,500 dependent on experience
Location: Luton

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and review management accounts
Handle complex assignments and oversee junior staff's work
Finalize accounts and ensure they meet required standards
Plan and conduct audits
Act as the senior representative on-site, managing client relationships professionally
Review and finalize audit files for manager review
Prepare complex business tax computations, including corporation tax and complete personal tax returns
Provide feedback and mentor junior staff
Conduct appraisals and support professional development
Experience & Skills required:
Qualified ACA Accountant
Strong experience in financial reporting, auditing and tax compliance
Experience overseeing and mentoring junior staff
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word)
Knowledge of accounting software such as Xero, Sage, QuickBooks (Desirable)
