Financial Controller role, overseeing a team of 3, working for the European arm of a Private Equity backed consultancy firm. This role will report the Finance Director and operate as #2 to the FD, with responsibility for managing the Finance team.

This is an exciting period of growth for the business, as they make a number of acquistions to grow across multiple global markets. You will play a key role in working on the integration of new business, project work around process improvement and automation, as well as typical BAU responsibilities of a Financial Controller.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Manage and develop a team of three, fostering a high-performance finance function.
  • Lead the financial integration of newly acquired companies, aligning systems, processes, and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls.
  • Support strategic decision-making by providing financial insights and analysis.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to optimize financial performance and operational efficiency.
  • Improve financial systems, policies, and processes to support business growth.

Requirements:
  • Qualified accountant (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with experience in a similar role.
  • Proven experience managing a finance team.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, M&A integration, and process improvement.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
