Are you an experienced and motivated financial planner or financial analyst looking to make a profound impact in people's lives? We are seeking a dedicated and growth-oriented financial professional to join our team and provide invaluable guidance to individuals navigating the complexities of Financial Planning and Wealth Management. Your primary responsibilities will be to provide comprehensive financial analysis and to assist in portfolio management for our clients.
Remote work is available, but candidates need to be local (within DC-MD-VA region).
Essential Functions
- Conduct in-depth analysis of clients' financial situations, including assets, liabilities, income, expenses, and investments.
- Develop financial projections considering clients' short-term, mid-term, and long-term planning goals.
- Prepare financial reports.
- Assist with investment management and research functions.
- Operational/administrative support where needed.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field. A master's degree or professional certifications (CFP, CFA or CPA are strongly preferred.)
- Proven experience working in financial planning and analysis, at least two years.
- Strong interest in investment markets.
- Understanding of custodial platforms (e.g., Schwab); experience rebalancing portfolios preferred.
- Knowledge of individual income tax.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Experience with eMoney is a plus.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple clients and prioritize tasks effectively.
