POSITION OVERVIEW
As a Trader and Junior Portfolio Manager, you will be responsible for assisting in the management of investment
portfolios and providing support to senior managers. Your duties will include:
- Conducting financial analysis and research to identify investment opportunities
- Assisting in the development and implementation of investment strategies
- Monitoring portfolio performance and making recommendations for adjustments
- Assisting with the preparation of client reports and presentations
- Collaborating with other team members to ensure effective portfolio management
- Staying up-to-date with market trends, economic developments, and regulatory changes
- Assisting in the evaluation and selection of investment products and services

- Strong knowledge of financial services and asset management principles
- Familiarity with securities law and regulations
- Proficiency in financial analysis techniques and tools
- Experience using Morningstar, yCharts, or other financial data platforms
- Ability to perform risk analysis and assist in risk management strategies
- Solid understanding of financial concepts and calculations
- Strong mathematical skills for analyzing investment performance and making projections

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As directed by Relationship Manager and Chief Investment Officer; initiate all advisory and brokerage
trades
Folio/Trade platform coding
Tracking off-model accounts
Written communication, both internal and external, regarding investment strategies and theses
Direct Client contact/communication regarding investments
Serving as an expert on investments for the team
A deep ability to cultivate, produce, and maintain relationships
In-depth knowledge of financial markets, products, and trends and the ability to convey this financial
knowledge to clients, advocates, and staff
QUALIFICATIONS
Florida Life and Health Insurance 2-15 license or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
Series 7 and 63 or 66 license.
College Degree in a related field
Strong computer proficiency with the ability to learn new software quickly (experience in MS Office Excel,
Word, and Outlook required. NetX360 experience is a plus)
Ability to work with and prioritize multiple tasks daily to maximize productivity with a focus on efficiency
and attention to detail
Ability to take independent action to make sound decisions
Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
Maturity combined with emotional intelligence
Trustworthiness and integrity
Ability to work well within a tight-knit team
