Eightcap is an Australian online financial trading Company that specialises in foreign exchange (Forex) and contract for difference (CFD) trading, offering over 250 tradable instruments to retail clients. The Company is headquartered in Melbourne, Australia and has offices in the UK Cypress, Guatemala, Bahamas, and Bulgaria.

People & Culture focuses on creating a positive workplace where employees can reach their full potential by addressing diversity in the workplace, work-life balance, career development opportunities, and providing support to teams through coaching and mentorship. Working closely with the business to achieve goals through people processes and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Employee Relations - Act as the first point of contact for employee queries, providing clear guidance on policies, procedures, and workplace matters. Coach and support managers in effectively leading their teams.
• HR Service Delivery - Coordinate and support key People & Culture processes, ensuring a seamless onboarding experience, delivering inductions, and identifying opportunities for process improvements.
• Performance & Development - Assist managers with performance review processes, support individual development plans, and contribute to employee engagement initiatives.
• Policy & Compliance - Ensure HR policies remain up to date and aligned with legal and organisational standards. Support compliance with workplace health and safety regulations.
• Culture & Engagement - Champion diversity, inclusion, and engagement initiatives. Organise and support events that reinforce our culture and values.
• HR Data & Reporting - Maintain accurate HR records (BambooHR), liaise with Finance regarding payroll queries, and provide HR metric reporting.

Who are you?

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• At least 3 years of experience in a human resources or advisory role.
• Knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
• Proven problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams.
• An interest in trading, FX, crypto, or general finance (desired).
• Experience with BambooHR (desired).
