Key Responsibilities:
Daily P&L Production and Analysis: Calculate and analyze daily P&L for the Equity Derivatives trading desk, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Investigate and explain any significant variances.
Risk Reporting: Monitor and report on key risk metrics, including market risk, credit risk, and operational risk. Ensure compliance with relevant risk limits and regulatory requirements.
Month-End Close: Participate in the month-end close process, including reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and preparation of financial reports.
Control and Compliance: Implement and maintain strong internal controls to ensure the integrity of financial data. Adhere to all relevant regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Trade Support: Provide support to the trading desk, including trade validation, position reconciliation, and resolution of trade discrepancies.
System Enhancement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and system enhancement. Contribute to the implementation of new systems and processes.
Ad-hoc Requests: Respond to ad-hoc requests from management, trading, and other stakeholders.
Required Skills and Experience:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, CIMA) is a plus.
