About Our Client
Our client is a new company freshly created in Geneva, operating in different European countries.

Job Description
The responsibilities of the Senior Accountant will be the following :

• Oversee and manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards
• Reconcile accounts, including inventory, fixed assets, and intercompany transactions
• Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including VAT reporting, withholding tax, and corporate income tax
• Support external and internal audits, providing all necessary documentation and addressing inquiries
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting

The Successful Applicant
The Senior Accountant we are looking for will bring the following background and experience:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant accounting experience
• Proficiency on accounting software and advanced MS Excel skills
• Strong knowledge of diverse accounting standards
• Fluency in English and French is required
