Job Description
- Preparing and reviewing of tax computations - withholding tax computation, advance tax etc.
- Preparing, reviewing and filing individual tax returns.
- Assisting in advisory projects including technical research, drafting memo, presentations etc.
- Assisting in tax assessment including preparing the submissions to be made before the tax authorities and assisting in representations;
- Co-ordinating with the tax authorities and visiting the tax office of regular follow-ups, rectification, refund follow-up etc.
- Regular interaction with client contacts and expatriates.
Qualifications
- Advance level of English.
- An interest in upskilling for a digital world and technology trends, an openness to learning new tools and adapting how you work.
- Strong computer and organizational skills.
- Comfortable working with many sources of technology such as Google apps, MSOffice (Excel, Word, Adobe) and database management systems.
- A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences and working alongside diverse people and perspectives.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including ability to communicate and manage expectations with engagement teams and clients.
- Detail oriented and ability to work effectively under tight deadlines.
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to locate and research information efficiently.
- Strong time management skills.
- Ability to demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills within a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to communicate professionally and promote effective working relationships.
- Process driven and comfortable following the given processes while delivering high quality deliverables.
