About the job:

BBVA Global Markets is seeking to upgrade its capabilities in rates derivatives. This is part of a much bigger plan to build a relevant franchise with Institutional Investors.

We do need an experienced hiring. At least 7 years experience with P&L responsibility as GBP interest rates swaps trader.

The individual will be partnering with sales, eCommerce and other teams to get the targets. The individual will be a relevant member of our linear derivatives trading team in Europe, currently composed of 9 traders. Wide knowledge of relevant customers for GBP IRSs is highly desirable.

We will positively consider experience in other products, EUR, CHF, DKK, NOK, SEK swaps, Xccy or FX Swaps.

Functions: Executive Director based in London
  • GBP, DKK, NOK, SEK IRSs market making
  • P&L generation according to budgetary exercise within risk limits and internal conduct rules.
  • Service to clients ( comments, axes, visits, ... )

Qualifications/Education Required:
  • Computer Science, Engineering, Finance or related.

Requirements:
  • Strong quantitative skills (needed for curve analysis, risk management, value spotting and hedging).
  • Soft skills ( communication, negotiation, team working ). Methodic and systematic.
  • Fluency in English.
