Purpose of Role / Summary:
The Head of Strategic Department is tasked with spearheading the company's strategic planning efforts to maximize growth opportunities, improve market positioning, and ensure long term sustainability. The role requires close collaboration with other departments to develop and execute strategies that enhance the company's competitive advantage in the brokerage industry.
Main Activities and Responsibilities:
• Lead the development and implementation of the company's overall strategic plan
• Identify growth opportunities by analyzing market trends, competitive landscapes, and industry best practices
• Collaborate with department heads to align their operational goals with the company's strategic objectives
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented strategies and adjust as necessary
• Facilitate strategic initiatives that drive innovation and efficiency across the organization
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for the CSO and Board of Directors on strategic plans and outcomes
• Oversee risk management strategies to mitigate potential threats to company growth
• Mentor and guide the strategic team, fostering a high performing work environment
• Any other duties relevant to the role
Required Skills & Experience:
• Advanced degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field (MBA preferred)
• Proven track record in a senior strategy or leadership role within the financial or brokerage industry
• Exceptional analytical skills, with expertise in market research, financial modeling, and risk assessment
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities
• Experience in implementing and managing strategic frameworks and tools
• In depth knowledge of the brokerage industry, including regulatory and compliance requirements
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional team

- Working hours are 09:00 - 18:00 Monday to Friday
