Job Description

The URD (Universal registration document) and HYR (Half year report) are the communication tools intended for shareholders, investors and financial analysts. It must be published each year and filed with the AMF by companies listed .

SCOR Group is required to report on an annual basis the regulatory reports URD (December 31) and HYR (June 30) under the responsibility of the URD and narratives team.

This team is responsible for group reporting production including but not limited to the production of URD, Half year reports and SII narratives reports (SFCR and RSR) and the quarterly review of the financial statements.

Responsibilities

Coordination:
  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate production of the Universal Register Documentation (Finance team, Legal department HR, General Secretary ....).
  • Facilitate communication between departments to streamline processes and resolve any issues that arise.

IFRS and regulatory compliance, in close relationship with the Reporting Center Of Excellence:
  • Ensure all documentation complies with the latest IFRS standards
  • Monitor and integrate new regulatory requirements into the documentation process (including CSRD)
  • Implement necessary adjustments to documentation processes in relation to any changes in regulation

Quality Assurance:
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and completeness of all documentation.
  • Conduct regular reviews to maintain high standards and stay uptodate on peers publications to identify best practice

Training and Development:
  • Provide training and support to the different contributors regarding the process
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

Qualifications

Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in financial reporting team
  • In-depth knowledge of IFRS and French Gaap
  • CSRD knowledge would be appreciated
  • Excellent English and French

Personal Competencies:
  • Proven experience in project management and team coordination.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - able to communicate clearly and concisely verbally and in writing
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in documentation management software and tools.
  • Good interpersonal skills - able to build constructive relations across the Group
  • Team player, collaborative spirit
  • Well organised, efficient and autonomous
  • Conscientious, curious and enthusiastic
  • Flexible and reactive in order to respond to a constantly evolving environment
  • Trustworthy, honest and high ethical and personal standards

Digital Competencies:
  • Very good Microsoft office knowhow

Required Education
  • BAC+5 in finance or equivalent
  • At least 5 years in a reporting department of a publicly traded company or Big 4 audit firm
