Job Description

SCOR is currently reinforcing its procurement department, creating the Category Manager BPO, Consulting & Information Services position.

The Category Manager designs and implements BPO, Non-IT Consulting and Information services procurement strategies, monitors performance plans, and oversees strategic suppliers' management.

The Category Manager BPO, Consulting & Information Services goal is to:
  • Develop trusted relationship with the Business and Functions and act as their single point of contact for all BPO, Consulting and Information services procurement matters
  • Promote innovative sourcing approaches
  • Develop global strategic vendors partnerships
  • Optimize purchasing costs while maintaining service quality
  • Manage suppliers risks in key areas: CSR, finance, legal, and compliance

Responsibilities

  • Support the Business and the Functions in developing sound sourcing strategies
  • Engage Business across all the company, assess business requirements, and draw synergies within and across Business Unit's and Functions
  • Implement a consistent procurement category strategy on BPO, Non-IT Consulting and Information services
  • Lead complex global agreements negotiations in a multicultural environment
  • Ensure compliance on the procurement process
  • Monitor the strategic vendors, performance plans and savings across Functions

Qualifications

Required experience & competencies
  • Demonstrated strategic Procurement experience in a global and multicultural environment
  • Good understanding of the global Consulting market, Outsourcing business, and Information sector
  • Experienced negotiator (with vendors and stakeholders)
  • Contract management experience
  • Collaborative team player and leader, with good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong sense of ownership
  • Result and customer-oriented mindset
  • Ability to prioritize

Required Education
  • Master or equivalent experience
