Are you interested in the Investment Fund industry? Do you have an appetite for dealing with investment funds controls and NAV calculations? Are you detailed oriented and able to proactively analyze potential discrepancies within Funds world?

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Fund Accounting Specialist to:

• ensure timely and accurate calculation of the Net Asset Value (NAV) of the funds assigned (liquid and alternative)
• post accounting entries
• perform reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to manage fund accounting operations.
• assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
• support audits by providing necessary documentation and insights.
• assist the department with ongoing projects and support other accounting related tasks.
• follow-up with clients and service providers regarding any issues raised until resolution.

Your team

You will be working in the Fund Accounting department in Luxembourg. We produce and distribute NAV reports and we oversee the fund corporate events.
We are connected and collaborate with other locations and departments.

Our key objective is to deliver excellent client services with continuous improvement on process efficiency and risk control.

This role is for our legal entity UBS Fund Administration Services Luxembourg S.A

Your expertise

• bachelor's degree or equivalent in accounting, finance, or any similar field
• minimum 7 years of experience in fund accounting or a similar role
• an understanding of accounting principles
• detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
• strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• very good communication and interpersonal abilities
• highly motivated, able to work independently
• foster a collaborative and supportive team environment
• fluency in English is mandatory; French, German, or any other language would be considered as an asset.
