We have partnered with one of the largest and most successful companies in the aviation industry. As the business has been expanding rapidly, they are seeking an experienced Finance Officer to join their Southern Gold Coast team. Our client drives many national operations and offers an exciting opportunity to take your career to the next level. This role is initially 3-6 months with the potential to go permanent for the right candidate.
Your new role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Finance Officer is responsible for the day to day cash management of the business, including debtor collection, creditor payments and customer invoicing, cash receipting, end of month reporting and more. The Finance Officer will work in close cooperation with internal stakeholders to ensure consistency and best practice is achieved and maintained across transactional activities, proactively driving the ongoing improvement of business practices and performance.
What you'll need to succeed
Proven experience in a similar role and at least 2 years experience with accounts receivables. Stakeholder relationship management ability, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills are highly beneficial. Although specific system experience is not essential, you will be a proficient user of Accounting systems. You will demonstrate attention to detail, great interpersonal and organisational skills, as well as a strong understanding of financial concepts and reconciliations.
