In your new role as the Senior Accountant, you will be embedded in the core of the business, supporting day-to-day finance activities, contracts and system administration

Your new role
In your new role as the Senior Accountant, you will be embedded in the core of the business, supporting day-to-day finance activities, contracts and system administration
- Ensure month end and annual reporting deadlines are met within the designated timeframes
- Ensure reporting requirements for the ATO are met with quarterly BAS and GST and annual FBT completed and paid on time
- Assist in managing the cashflow to meet the business working capital requirements of the organisation
- Maintain the Fixed Asset register
- Lead the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts and the reporting of results. Financial modelling to assist with analysis and decision-making
- Take ownership of the monthly and yearly reporting function and associated requirements
- Lead the preparation of annual financial statements and audit
- Develop and manage stakeholder relationships and inter-project relationships
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have at least 5 years experience working in a similar role, demonstrating the ability to individually lead budgets. CPA or CA (completed or working towards) will be highly regarded. Additionally, you will be an expert in Xero and be able to pick up on new software.
