Job Description

We are looking for a new member to join our experienced Private Client Team. The role encompasses the management of a portfolio of trusts and companies.

Dependant on experience level the TO may act as a supervisor to a more junior team member.

Main Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • The administration of a portfolio of trusts and corporate structures for a multinational HNW client base of individuals, corporates and family offices.
  • Maintenance of records, drafting trust minutes and corporate resolutions.
  • Bank/investment account openings, ongoing management of banking relationships.
  • Establishing investment accounts and ongoing monitoring.
  • Liaising with clients, drafting reports, attending meetings in response to their specific needs.
  • The establishment of new structures including all aspects of trust formation, company incorporation and all compliance aspects to meet with regulatory requirements.
  • Be involved in the client acceptance process in line with Ocorian procedures; liaising closely with the Director responsible and the Client Acceptance Risk Committee.
  • Work collaboratively with the compliance team to complete compliance reviews, gathering and updating due diligence and assisting in the preparation of periodic reviews.
  • Liaising with Investment Management, including attendance at and recording of quarterly meetings with Enhance and the setting and regular review of investment policies.
  • Management of residential and commercial property including insurance, property management agreements and liaising with letting agents.
  • Liaising with Tax advisors in respect of annual tax reporting to ensure our structures are tax compliant.
  • Regular training is provided through our GROW platform, with face to face in house and support provided for studying professional qualifications.
  • Regular training is provided in relation to industry updates, taxation and regulatory changes.


Qualifications Required
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in company and trust administration.
  • Partially or fully STEP qualified
  • Corporate experience would be good - Ideally corporate and trust
  • Proficient in MS Work, Excel and Outlook.
  • Excellent written and oral communication
  • Experience of Viewpoint would be an advantage but not essential
  • Knowledge of Guernsey's regulatory environment.
