Your new role
As a System Administrator, you'll be responsible for maintaining and administering IT systems to ensure infrastructure stability, performance and security. This full-time contract role involves supporting day-to-day IT system management, providing specialised support for escalated issues, collaborating with broader technology teams and actively participating in organisational projects. You'll also work closely with third-party vendors and continually innovate to improve organisational productivity, capability and service levels.
What you'll need to succeedSolid experience in a system administration role supporting Windows AD, Azure cloud platforms, and applications. Proficiency in administering MS Windows domains, *nix servers, and MS SQL database servers. Experience with networks, including SDWAN. Skills in cloud platform provisioning, configuration management (Ansible, Rudder, Intune), and infrastructure such as code software (Terraform, Bicep templates). Strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and the capability to thrive on challenges.
