Job Description
- Lead the proposal, implementation, and successful deployment of initiatives and system upgrades while identifying, managing, and escalating risks in a timely and appropriate manner.
- Ensure the financial integrity of the company's ERP (current or future) by leveraging advanced expertise in business processes, including Finance, Controlling, Logistics, and Sales.
- Execute a full spectrum of advanced financial responsibilities in compliance with group policies, system best practices, and internal controls/audit requirements.
- Conduct month-end financial tasks, including posting closing entries and reconciling data between CRMs and SAP.
- Oversee financial referential management and SAP master data, requiring deep expertise in SAP ERP customization.
- Drive the design and implementation of SAP modifications related to projects, policy changes, and initiatives, ensuring proper training and transition to operational users.
- Provide advanced operational support to business users in Finance, Accounting, Controlling, Sales, and Supply Chain, resolving complex financial and system issues related to SAP and other finance-related IT tools.
- Manage internal control activities related to SAP and act as the primary point of contact for external IT auditors.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies relevant to financial systems and processes.
The Successful Applicant
- 5-10 years' experience in Finance and SAP projects
- Expert in SAP environment and Financial Systems
- Strong understanding of the business processes in the area of Finance & Administration
- Previous experience in leading / taking part of an ERP transformation
- Fluency in French and English
- Strong knowledge in Microsoft Excel
- Result orientation - excellent analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment
