Description of the role: We're seeking a Corporate Services Assistant to join our Corporate Services team. Yo u will be a key member of our team, reporting directly to the Corporate Services Administrator division and working closely with the broader Business Advisory Services Partner and Manager group.

What makes you 'just right':
  • 1-2 years of experience in an administration or similar role.
  • Completed or willingness to complete chartered secretarial studies.
  • Familiarity or willingness to learn the Corporations Act, corporate governance principles and their practical application is highly desirable.
  • Ideally familiar with CAS360 software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to maintain discretion and handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
What your day might look like:

Assisting the Corporate Secretarial Services team that provides corporate services to our 3,000+ corporate clients including
  • Attending to compliance obligations including Annual Company Statements
  • Company incorporations and deregistrations
  • Establishing discretionary and unit trusts
  • Filing corporate secretarial documents
  • Preparation and maintenance of corporate registers
  • Performing company and personal searches
  • Preparation of required documentation for company, officeholder and shareholder changes, including lodgement with ASIC
  • Business names administration including registrations, cancellations, renewals and change of address
  • Liaising with the broader Business Advisory division to help service their client needs
