Job Description
- Lead and manage the financial strategy for the service subsidiary, ensuring alignment with the holding company's overall financial goals.
- Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting.
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with Swiss OR and IFRS.
- Develop and monitor KPIs to evaluate financial performance, providing actionable insights to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including tax, audit, and legal obligations in Switzerland.
- Supervise and manage the finance team, providing mentorship and development opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on financial strategy, cost management, and efficiency improvements.
- Work closely with CFOs of other subsidiaries and other heads of departments to support the company's broader strategic goals.
- Lead initiatives to improve financial systems, processes, and reporting accuracy.
The Successful Applicant
- Higher education in business administration Master's degree from an FH or University), with a specialization in corporate finance and/or controlling (CPA is an advantage).
- At least 10 years of experience in finance roles and several years of leadership experience
- Business fluency in English and German (German at least at B2 level).
- Experience in international organizations, ideally on corporate level within the retail or FMCG industries (experience in Big 4 is an advantage).
- Strong Excel skills and generally IT-savvy.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
- Analytical, conceptual, and innovative thinker, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- High level of flexibility, ambiguity, commitment, independent working style, team spirit, and a structured, solution-oriented approach.
- Enjoys working with an international team and is open to business travel every other month.
