Role Description:
The Level 1 Financial Analyst is responsible for broadly supporting the investment processes for the Private Wealth Management business.
Key Position Responsibilities:
Key liaison of the portfolio management team offering analytical support within the public market investments.
Retrieve and deliver critical holdings reports to the portfolio management team and assist with monitoring/measuring/reporting portfolio valuation changes.
Analyze and summarize corporate financial reports, quarterly and annual earnings reports, as well as creating research reports within a provided template framework.
Support of the security trading function for the portfolio management team within all public market asset classes. This may include single and group trades for individual stocks, bonds, mutual funds, ETFs, and currencies.
Maintain client portfolio management and performance reporting software and related system updates.
Work with our custodians to provide client critical information as needed. Must develop custodian platform competency and proficiency for cash and security movements, statement and tax information retrieval and other informational requirements.
General support of the client relationship management function including a variety of printed communications and performance reporting.
Maintain proxy voting records and research and prepare client class-action claims as necessary.
Provide SEC compliance support and assist as requested in compiling related compliance reports.

Position Qualifications:
Education: BA/BS or equivalent, concentration in Finance preferred
Series 65 Securities license
Willingness to participate in the CFA Exam Program
Skills:
-Computer literacy in MS Office (Excel and Word proficiency)
-Prior experience with either Bloomberg or FactSet a plus
