You will shoulder responsibility in one of the world's leading international clearing and settlement organizations and will act as a communicator and connector between Accounting, Regulatory Reporting, Compliance and Auditors. In a dynamic, client- and technology-oriented environment, you will be both in charge of the preparation and coordination of Financial Statements and related accounting tasks.
Located in Luxembourg, you will experience great multicultural teamwork as well as flat hierarchies and get the opportunity to develop further while working with accounting and regulatory specialists.
Your responsibilities:
- Support month-end closing activities.
- Assist in the preparation of annual financial statements (IFRS/LUX GAAP).
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors by preparing requested analyses and documentation and providing updates on day-to-day activities.
- Ensure the completeness and accuracy of the general ledger chart of accounts including proper reconciliation with various sub-ledger.
- Perform key controls within the due date and document them in Jira.
- Update accounting policies and procedures as required.
Your profile:
- Bachelor's degree in economics or accountancy.
- Recently graduated or have 1 to 2 years of experience in this field, preferably in an audit company or a bank.
- Knowledge of IFRS / Lux-Gaap / Bank accounting
- Flexibility and team spirit
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet tight deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English; French & German language skills will be an asset.
- Strong IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Office. Knowledge of SAP is an advantage.
