Mondrian Alpha are working with a rapidly growing Private Credit firm. They have doubled in size over the last 5 years and are forecasting this growth to continue over the next few years. They are looking to hire a Junior Associate to cover a range of fund accounting, portfolio monitoring and investor relations responsibilities.
This is a great opportunity to step into a highly progressive role with exposure across all areas of the business (operations, accounting, IR, sales), providing a platform for you to build a career in the Private Markets space. The role will work with the fund accountants to provide portfolio performance numbers, support the investor relations (providing analysis on weekly estimates, supporting with investor newsletters, statements, capital dealings etc.) and work with asset management/credit team on general portfolio management details. The business encourage innovation, and they will give you autonomy to implement changes and lead on projects across the business. With the rapid growth of the business, there will be fast progression towards an accounting team lead position within 2-3 years or they also offer great mobility across the firm (to non-investment roles).
For this, we are looking for intelligent and ambitious individuals with minimum of 2-3 years' experience. You should have recently achieved an accounting qualification. It is important to have excellent excel skills and have knowledge of various financial products (for example bonds, loans, CDS, forwards etc).
Depending on experience, the firm are willing to pay up to £70k for the right candidate, with a strong bonus aligned to the industry average. They will subsidise any further qualifications and training. They work 4 days in their modern central London office.
