Looking for a Summer Internship for 2025 in Financial Services? We are offering talented students the opportunity to gain valuable insight and hands-on experience into our business. The internship will offer a 10-week immersive experience during the summer in our New York City office.
The opportunity:
We are recruiting a summer intern to join our New York City Office where you will gain unique insight into the finance reporting team, the people who perform that role, our industry and what you could expect from a full-time role.
Who we are:
TP ICAP is a global firm of professional intermediaries playing a pivotal role in the world's financial markets, energy and commodities markets.
We provide market participants with execution via a range of regulated venues, covering a full spectrum of over-the-counter (OTC) asset classes, including FX, Rates, Credit, Equities, Energy and Commodities. Matching buyers and sellers via electronic, voice and hybrid channels, we facilitate the development of liquidity and price discovery in these markets and provide insight and context to our clients. Globally, we are a leading provider of proprietary OTC market data and analytics, with comprehensive coverage of financial, energy and commodities products.
Our clients include banks, insurance companies, pension and hedge funds, asset managers, energy producers and refiners, as well as risk and compliance managers and charities.
Daily tasks may include:

Daily tasks may include:
- Accounts of all America entities are closed in a timely manner, in accordance with TPICAP accounting close deadline.
- Assist in ensuring proper controls are in place with respect to recognition of revenue and cost.
- Analyze trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments and obligations incurred for review by supervisor along with supporting documentation.
- Compiles monthly reports for various clients within finance and outside finance.
- Liaise with accounting staff from various offices within US, Asia and EMEA on intercompany activity.
- Coordinate with compensation team to ensure revenue and costs are correct by broker and desk.
- Assists management in the preparation and compilation of special projects
- Ability to assist management in support of the MID / Business Partners and FP&A team.
- You should be graduating between December 2025 and August 2026.
- You have a genuine passion for working with people and thrive in collaborative environments.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential; you should be able to work effectively with a diverse group.
- You possess strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on detail.
- You're comfortable navigating through ambiguous and ever-changing situations.
- You have proficiency in Excel and are familiar with data reporting and analysis tools.
- A love for numbers and a keen interest in working with financial data is crucial.
- All candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Summer intern program dates are Tuesday, June 3 to Friday, August 8.
- We do not offer relocation assistance or housing for our internship program.
Salary: $34/hour
